We first met about 15 years ago through mutual friends. We started dating a few years after that. We soon realized that we found our special someone in each other. After 4 years of dating, we were married on October 1, 2005.
We are very supportive of each other and our goals and dreams. We share many of the same values, faith, interests, beliefs, and sense of humor. We both enjoy spending time with each other and embracing the little moments life has to give. We are eager to experience all of the little moments and big milestones that come with being parents.
We both love our large, close-knit families and supportive friends. We are blessed to have so many people in our lives that love us, support us, and are excited for us. A good number of our relatives from both sides are in town. But, we also love to visit family in and out of state. We spend time with family at least 3-4 times a month. We also enjoy large gatherings at holidays to catch up with family and friends.
Our Faith
Our relationship with God is very important to us. God has blessed us with a wonderful family and warm home. He has given us wisdom and guidance to live our lives to the fullest. We strive to honor God and let him lead us everyday. We hope to show our children how great God is, how wonderful his love is, and pass down his values to them.

Our Family
We both come from large, diverse families. Sumati is part Eastern Indian and African American. Brian is part Lebanese and Caucasian. We both love the range of cultures in our families (including all of the yummy food!).
Both of our parents live in the same metro area as us, so it will be great to have the grandparents close by! We also have many family members that are in the same state as us. This makes for big family gatherings around the holidays. We also have family all over the country that we try to visit often. Sumati's family has a large family reunion every two years.
We also cannot forget our "furr babies!" We have three quirky and lovable cats named Butters, Baby, and Martini. They give us much joy each day and are truly a part of our family.
